About Us

Establieshed in 1984, we are a NOT-FOR-PROFIT Licensed Home Care Agency approved by the New York State Department Of Health. Our services are approved through the New York State Medicaid Program, managed long-term care organizations and managed care organizations. Our compassionate team has proudly served seniors and homebound residents of Queens for over four decades. Our certified staff, which includes home aides, personal care aides, housekeepers and nurses provide comfort. Companionship and essential care services with multilingual capabilities, we ensure personalized care for each client.

What We Do

At Pomonok Home Services, our mission is to provide safe, high-quality, and affordable personal care services mandated by Title XIX of the Social Security Act. Our services are exclusively available to poverty-level Medicaid recipients designated by the New York State Department of Social Services (NYSDSS), the New York City Human Resources Administration (NYCHRA), and Manage Long Term Care (MLTC).
Our qualified healthcare practitioners determine the need for personal care services under the Social Security Act and the Medicaid eligibility process. Our services are available to NYSDSS and NYCHRA/MLTC-designated individuals who are medically indigent, psychologically impaired, and/or physically handicapped.
Our trained and certified staff administers personal care services without charges, except for individuals identified by NYSDSS and NYCHRA as having to pay surplus income based on predetermined eligibility criteria.
